Everyone wants to be successful but hardly anyone wants to work for it. Success does not to your doorstep, you have to hustle to get there. In this article, learn three ways to hustle even more. Hustle, grind, and reach to the top!
If you want to become even more successful in your life and business, then the obvious answer to all of these questions is yes! In this series of articles, you will learn the three ways to HUSTLE even more. And you may wonder, why is it so important to hustle? To start off, look everyone around you and observe those who are doing big things in life. For example, Elon Musk, creator of Space X, Solar City, and Tesla. Did you think he was lazy and just sat around hoping the best will come? No. He worked his ass off and hustled everyday to get to the point where he is at now. If you want to be like everyone else, by all means, keep doing what you are doing. If you want to be an Elon Musk and be wealthier than most in society, then do what everyone else is not doing. One of the main reasons why everyone is not a millionaire by now is because not everyone is hustling to achieve their dreams. Musk’s talks about working 100 hours in a week instead of 40 hours. He encourages this kind of work ethics for those who want to accomplish something in a month while it takes the average person a year to complete that task. Elon Musk is a billionaire yet he is always on the grind and this is why his net worth is so high. I’m not telling you that money is everything. The point of bringing Elon Musk is to apply his work principles. After doing some research and reflecting on my own personal life, I correlated the three ways to hustle even more. The three ways consist of: Now, Innovate, and Invest. The first topic is NOW and the reason why I chose this as the first step is because many people just wait for the perfect timing to hustle. Let me tell you something, there is no “perfect time” to hustle- the time is always NOW! Entrepreneurs who does the hustle, knows that hustling is something you do 24 hours in day, 7 days a week, and 365 days in a year. You may or may not listen to Rick Ross but you can take his song title “Everyday I’m Hustlin” and implement that into your life. Grant Cardone, multi-millionaire and investor, stated:
“Hustle so you don’t have to struggle- then keep hustling so you can help others that are still struggling.”
The dictionary definition of hustle means to keep a busy movement and activity. In connection with the quote above, if you are tired of not being where you want to be, then you need to push harder and keep yourself always in action. There is a saying that says, if you’re busy then you are making money. So many people want the gold instantly but don’t realize that you have to put in the effort to find the gold. Successful entrepreneurs hustle because they know that time is of the essence. If you are not chasing your goal, someone else is. Be that someone who chases after their goal while the rest of the people walk towards their goal. Hustling is like a marathon, the person who wins and reaches the finish line was not only fast but they were prepared, dedicated and put in a lot of hard work. A quote that I strongly preach:
“Things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle.”
So stop wasting time, get on the hustle and make that money. After you realize that NOW is the time, the second step comes into play- innovate. People think that entrepreneurs are people who only care about the business aspect and I think that is bullshit. Entrepreneurs are people who identify the problems and find a solution. The word innovate comes from the Latin word, innovat which means to be renewed or altered. At this day and age, you don’t have to come up with new ideas. I’m not saying new ideas are not worth your time but you can save yourself from the don’ts and do’s by revamping someone else’s idea. Pablo Picasso, the famous 20th century artist who is the co-founder of Cubism, quoted:
“Good artists copy, great artists steal.”
Being an innovator does not only mean getting creative- being an innovator also means adapting and utilizing all of your resources. And how does innovating something relates to hustling? If you want to hustle and make a profit as well, you have to follow the steps that other successful people have already made and turn it to something even more greater. Thomas Edison, one of the greatest inventor of all time, stated:
“There’s a way to do it better – find it.”
Lastly, the third way to hustle is to invest. If you are making money but you are not close to attempting to save it for future investments, then you are not hustling the right way. There are two parts of how investing and hustling connect with one another. One being, if you want invest but don’t have the money, then you need to invest in your time to hustle. No one is going to do the hustle for you. Second, you hustle and invest- meaning after you hustle, take that portion to invest in something to create more profit and then continue to hustle. Warren Buffet, the wealthiest man in the world, said:
“Make money. Use that money to make more money. Repeat the process.”
At the end of the day, ask yourself are you hustling enough to get to where you want to be? If not, the time is NOW to change.
