Do you want to dominate in business?
Do you want to succeed in life?
Do you want to make a big impression on the world?
If you want to fulfill all of these above, you will run into haters- it is inevitable. There is a saying that if you are doing things right, people are going to hate you. With that being said, you want haters. Let me go ahead and repeat that to you again, you want haters. There is nothing to be afraid about having haters. In life, everything is a mindset- it is your attitude towards anything in life that would either make you or break you. At the end of the day, I welcome haters to my business and so should you. Grant Cardone, best selling author and investor, preaches:
“You can’t reach your full potential without haters.”
Enough said, now let’s get into business and reach your fullest potential. In this article, you will learn about how to benefit from haters and use that as leverage for your success. First, you need to understand the algorithm of why haters even hate. There can be many ideas to why haters hate but it stems from these four reasons: fear, bad self image, insecurities, and lack of self confidence. When people perceive something as a threat, our brain creates an emotion we call fear. Being fearful can lead to other emotions like jealousy which sometimes pushes hater to hate. When haters see other people more successful than them, they are afraid to be seen less successful so they bash on others to feel superior. This also correlates to having a bad self image of yourself- this means if you think you are ugly or not good looking. Some haters feel that way about themselves so when they meet someone who is successful and also handsome, they will hate on that person. On another note, haters feed into insecurities. People who are insecure mostly have deeper unresolved issues. Since they do not feel secure about themselves, whether it is in life, business, or relationships, they take out their anger on people which causes the hate and negativity. Lastly, haters are people who lack self confidence. If haters are one hundred percent sure of themselves, they would not compare or have doubts in their abilities to also do the same thing whoever they are hating on. A quote I stand by:
“Haters don’t hate you. The reality is they fear that they will never be able to get to where you are right now.”
Now that we know why haters are hating, here are some ways to benefit from them:
- Use their hate and negativity to push yourself to grind and hustle even more and if you don’t do so, just let the hate go- it is NOT worth your time.
- Realize that they only hate you for your success, so instead of being upset with them, be grateful for the haters because you know you are on the right track.
- You can learn from them- sometimes, haters are brutally honest and they may say something that can help you grow for the better.
Note: Success is a mindset and NOT everything they say is true.
- Haters keep you grounded- when you are super successful, some things could get to your head and you forget why you even started in the first place. Haters remind you that you still need to push for success.
- Free publicity- if you look at the most viral videos or businesses, people can choose to love it or hate it; either way, you’re getting free press and word of mouth. The more people that know who you are or your business, the more clients you will get.
Haters feed from your success. If you are still hung up on haters, you need to read let that shit go. You will only waste your breath and your time if all you do is feed off of their energy in a wrong way. Do you think Tony Robbins has haters? How about Grant Cardone? Or Robert Kiyosaki? Or Warren Buffett? Or Bill gates and Steve Jobs? These people are among the most successful and wealthiest people in the world and I guarantee you that each and every one of them has a hater or two. Or people who are were negative and hated their ideas. I know that Bill Gates had plenty of people who doubted his dream of Microsoft and now, he is the richest man in the world, net worth of 87.7 billion dollars. Bill Gates stated:
“Your most unhappy customers are your greatest source of learning.”
From this example, you can learn how to be even more humble and instead of feeding into the negativity- but imagine how the world be if he did. Now imagine how the world be if you fed in the haters? You could have innovated the next big thing but you chose not to. Throughout your life, you will have people who loves you or people who absolutely hates you. And it is okay if everyone in the world does not love you. This goes the same way in business and as you already know, in business, you need to grow a tough skin. People will always have opinions, whether you want them to or not. Do yourself a favor and don’t give a fuck about if it is not making you money. If you can’t handle being talked about, you’re not ready for success. And haters want to see you fail and get pissed off so instead of doing so, get even more successful and don’t even flinch. Everyone is capable of changing their attitude, the problem is that no one wants to put the effort of doing so. This takes me back to what I always say, no one is going to do shit for you.

Remember, when you see a hater, don’t hate, celebrate.
