Jeff Rollon is a real estate professional, entrepreneur and philanthropist. He enjoys helping others while living with a positive attitude and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. He was born on November 6, 1983 and grew up in a military household based in San Diego. As the youngest of five children, at an early age he always had the entrepreneurial spirit and drive. He washed cars, cut grass and sold candy to earn extra money for himself.
“The Hustle is my Comfort Zone. It’s all I know”
Jeff graduated from high school in May 2001. At 19, he felt he had no purpose or direction. He worked multiple jobs in retail, fast food, and as a local tattoo artist. Money was tight. Jeff soon found himself on the edge of being evicted from his apartment. He felt like he was going nowhere fast.
One month after his 19th birthday, Jeff decided he needed a change. He joined the US Navy in December 2002. His time in the Navy helped him become a better man and leader as he began to pick important skills. Those skills reinforced structure and purpose in his life.
“Don’t recognize opportunity after you miss the opportunity.”
During his time in the service, Jeff was part of the team that assisted during Hurricane Katrina. For services above and beyond the line of duty, Jeff was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal. He also oversaw aviation maintenance and support during the natural disasters in Haiti. The Navy helped him broaden his horizons and took him to over twenty countries around the world. At this point in his life, Jeff had worked hard, and achieved a higher level for himself. However, he felt he could accomplish more.
“I was an entrepreneur before I even knew the word existed.”
In 2006, Jeff started a media distribution venture during a six-month deployment. The business grew, was successful, which began his career as an entrepreneur. On August 31, 2011 he met his girlfriend Mary who quickly became the inspiration. She opened up his mind to other options to create success for himself other than a job.
Two months before completing his service commitment in the Navy, Jeff began to invest in real estate in April 2013. He launched his first real estate company, Solid Pursuits, Inc. in January 2014. Later that year, he launched his first housing development project for three single family homes.
